PRIVACY

Your library is yours.

Last updated 8 October 2026

Bord is a private place to keep what you find online. We collect only what it takes to run it, we never sell it, and there are no ads or third-party trackers in the app or on this site.

The waitlist

When you join, we store your email address, whether you asked to hear about the Chrome extension, and when you signed up. We use it to send your beta invite and, if you ticked the box, to tell you when the extension launches. Nothing else.

Beta invites go out through Apple’s TestFlight, so Apple receives your email address to send the invite. Apple’s own privacy policy covers what it does with it.

Your account

You sign in to the app with your email address and a one-time code. We keep the address to identify your account and to send those codes.

What you save

The links you save and everything you add to them (titles, thumbnails, notes, tags and your Bords) are stored on your phone and synced to our servers, so your library is backed up and available on your other devices. Nobody else can see it: there is no public profile and no feed.

Link previews

To show a title and picture for a link, the app asks for a preview from where the link points: the web page itself or the platform’s public preview service (for example YouTube, TikTok, X, Spotify, Pinterest or Reddit). That request comes from your phone, so the site sees it the way it would see you opening the link.

Who handles the data

We use Supabase to store accounts, libraries and the waitlist, and PowerSync to keep your devices in sync. They process the data on our behalf and for nothing else.

Deleting it

You can delete your account from the app’s settings. That removes your account and your library from our servers and from your devices. To come off the waitlist, email temitopepinheiro@gmail.com and we’ll remove you.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell people on the waitlist and in the app.
